NEWPORT–The North Country Falcons played a much improved a game against Colchester on Tuesday, compared to their last outing against Milton, but they ran into a tough Laker pitching staff, led by starter Devon Dessormeau, who limited the Falcons to just one run on one hit and a walk in Colchester's 9-1 win.
Colchester is now 8-2 while North Country is 0-9.
The boys travel to take on Mte. Abe today, where Bryce Carter will make his first varsity start for North Country.
First pitch is at 4:30.
