Python Wrestling Sending Six to New England Tournament

The NEK Pythons hit the road on Sunday, making their way to the New England qualifier's tournament in Essex Junction.The team had an excellent showing, and will be sending six of their wrestlers to the New England Championships on March 10th in Plymouth New Hampshire. The rest of the team will head to Mount Mansfield to compete in a regular season event.The six wrestler making the trip to Plymouth are Josh Roberts, Codey Lamere, Logan Gerrow, Aiden Maher, and Logan and Jacob Sylvester.Below are the results from Essex for each of the Python wrestlers.Josh Roberts won all five matches and took first place.Codey Lamere won four matches took second place.Logan Gerrow took second place.Aiden Maher took second place. He is a first time wrestler this year.Logan Sylvester won three out of five to take third place.Jacob Sylvester took third place winning, three out of five matches.Malaki Maher took fourth place. and is a first year wrestler.Tyler Wilson took fifth place, and is a first time wrestler.Jesse Gerrow took fifth place.Wynston Bean also took fifth place.
