WINDSOR–The Lake Region girls defeated Burr and Burton Academy on Saturday afternoon to improve to 8-2 on the season.
"Our team defense showed improvement with better rotations and strong help D," said coach Mark Tinker. "With the better defense we were able to hold them to just twenty-two percent shooting for the game."
This is the third win in a row for Lake Region.
After defeating Lyndon Institute a week ago, they had a fine comeback win over Enosburg on Thursday evening at the Don Harter Memorial Gym.
It is back to the Harter gym for the girls tonight when they host undefeated BFA Fairfax at 7:00.
