Maloney–– Rita J., 82, of Newport, Vermont died peacefully, surrounded by dear family and friends on June 30, 2012. A graveside memorial service will be held at St. Edward’s Catholic Cemetery in Derby Line, VT on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited at 12:30 p.m. at the Eastside Restaurant following the graveside. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, contributions may be made to the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Society, c/o Betsy Hampton, 502 Strawberry Acres, Newport, VT 05855.
