Roger H. Ricard

Roger H. Ricard, 56, of Windsor, Connecticut, loving husband of 19 years to Lynn (Wolf) Ricard, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT.
Born in Newport, Vermont, the son of the late John Paul Ricard and Avis (Lafont) Ricard, he grew up and lived in Newport before moving to Windsor twenty years ago. He was a graduate of North Country Union High School in Newport, VT. He was employed by Ethan Allen Furniture as a furniture repairman for many years. Roger enjoyed woodworking. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters: Theresa Ricard, and Deborah Biron and her husband Dale, all of Newport, VT; a brother, John P. Ricard, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Newport, VT; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reid and Mercedes Wolf of Naples, FL and formerly of Windsor, CT; four brothers-in-law: Brian Wolf and his wife Maureen of Granby, CT; Kevin Wolf of Salem, MA; Keith Wolf and his wife Karen of Windsor, CT; and Lee Wolf and his wife Diane of Salem, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Rachel Ricard.
His family will receive friends for calling hours on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 4–7 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, CT. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad Street, Windsor, CT. Burial will take place in the spring in Newport, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
