Speed Will be Key for Fresh Faced Falcons

NEWPORT–The 2014 North Country girls soccer team will feature a completely different look from top to bottom, starting with the coaching staff.
Peter Alexander, who has coached along side Jose Batista fro many years has stepped down, and Tracy Muzerall, who has spent the last couple of season as a co-coach of the JV team will by be moving up and assisting Batista this season.
"Peter and I were together for I can’t count the years," said Batista. "He started with the boys and then worked with the girls, so we are going to miss him. He has done some great things over the last four or five years, and he has a saying, 'leave things better than when you were there', and he was one the initiated a lot of things, like the sheds here, but I still go and see him and pick his brain on a couple of things."
