DERBY - The Vermont State Senate has passed a controversial involuntary medication bill and sent it to the House Judiciary Committee. The mental health bill focuses on people in need of help but canâ€™t be forced to take drugs and involuntarily commit them to a hospital. Representative Vicki Strong said she understands the billâ€™s intent, but has problems with the language.
