NEWPORT CITY - Area third grade students will have the opportunity to take a one-hour cruise on Lake Memphremagog in May and June. Chris Johansen, president of the Memphremagog Navigational Company, and Burlington developer Tony Pomerleau are working together to make the cruise possible.
Johansen is in the process of getting his newest boat, the Northern Star, ready for its maiden voyage in May. He purchased the boat from Green Mountain Boat Lines last year.
