Two 1sts’ For Columbia as Falcons Take Home 9th Place at Burlington Invitational

BURLINGTON–North Country's boys’ and girls’ track squads combined for a score of 59 points to take home ninth place at the Burlington Invitational on Saturday.
Dylan Columbia was the top performer for the Falcons, taking home first place in the 100 and 200 meter races.
Columbia, along with Josh Brien, Connor Hogan and Nick LeClair took third in the 4x100 as well.
Riley Simoneau also had a good day at the event, winning the shot put with Barry Shelton behind him in sixth place.
Jason Webster had a fourth place finish in the discus to wrap the boys' who placed sixth or higher at the event.
For the girls, Haley Jo Tetreault finished third in the 800 and fifth in the 1500.
Jenna Moss took home a fourth place finish in the discus.
There is not much time for rest for the team as they will be right back at it today when they host MVU and BFA Fairfax at 3:30.
