It is going to be a busy year for these young soccer players. Not only do they have regular season games but they are going to be matching up against teams in different tournaments as well. Memorial Day Weekend the team will be traveling to New Hampshire to test their skills in the Presidents Cup. They are representing Vermont in the U-13 age group. If they persevere, they could earn themselves a trip to California. The team will also be participating in the annual Essex Soccer Tournament. It has become a tradition to end the season with some fantastic soccer over a span of two days in the sometimes hot, sweltering, or rainy, arctic weather at the end of June.
The teamâs opening season game is Sunday May, 6 at 1:30pm. If you want to see a team with grit, determination and heart, take a drive to North Country Junior High School to see a game that is sure to thrill, chill, and entertain. To see their full schedule go to Vermont Soccer League website and look under the U-14 girls section. This team is ready to test themselves against the 2012 season competition. Good Luck Wildcats, may this be a season to remember.
