Wright–– Ulric Benjamin Sr., 63, of Derby passed away suddenly June 29, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newport where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in his memory to the Mary Wright Halo Foundation in care of the Community National Bank, P.O. Box 259, Derby, VT 05829. The foundation will benefit Orleans Country Area residents who are caring for sick and/or terminally ill family members during their time of need.
