Powers–– Vida Mary passed away Tuesday morning, January 8, 2013 at the age of 84 in her home in the village of West Charleston, Vermont after a short battle with cancer. There will be a memorial service for friends and family Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home located at 4670 Darling Hill Road in Newport, VT. Memorial donations may be made to Orleans/Essex VNA and Hospice Inc., 46 Lakemont Road, Newport, VT 05855.
