Charleston Committee Says Solar Panels Would Pay For Themselves

Storykeepers Bring Meaning To History

DERBY CENTER — Storykeepers will be a part of the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) program at Albany Community School this year. Lowell, Craftsbury, and Brighton are among other schools that have participated in the Storykeepers program.
Storykeepers introduces family history to students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Brownington Taxpayers To Vote Again On Garage Bond

BROWNINGTON — A petition to reconsider the approval of a bond for the construction of a town garage and purchase of a truck in Brownington was submitted to the select board on Wednesday evening.
“That’s a lot of signatures,” remarked select board Chairman Dean Perry upon receiving the petition. Reggie Glodgett and Bruce Gonyaw led the petition drive to reconsider passage of the appropriation request on primary day.

Good Neighbor Funds Pay For Solar Tracker In Craftsbury

September 11, 2014

The town of Craftsbury has installed a solar tracker near the town garage in an effort to become more sustainable. The price tag on the solar tracker was about $21,000, paid for by annual payments from Green Mountain Power’s ”Good Neighbor Fund.”
