North Country hockey players Ryan Paul and Ross DeLaBruere have not waited long to start exploring their future options in the game of hockey.
Prior to their appearance in the Essex Rotary Classic All-Star game, the pair, along with their coach Ryan Jacobs, took a trip down south to skate with a couple of junior teams, the Junior Bruins out of Boston, and the Junior Monarchs from Manchester, NH.
"Coach Jacobs called us the day before and told us we would be going, so it all happened quite fast. It was definitely a good opportunity to get us out there and get some good feedback with where we are at. We were nervous, but we definitely proved that we could skate with the guys and that we could adapt to that level of play."
"It was exciting," said Paul about how he was feeling when he heard about the plan. "The first thought was that I can do this, this is something I can accomplish."
