The Newport Daily Express has been serving Newport and all of the communities of the Northeast Kingdom since 1936. Published Monday through Friday, The Express covers a thirty mile radius east, west, north and south of Newport, a community located 85 miles south of Montreal and 200 miles north of Boston.
One of only eight daily newspapers in the Green Mountain State, The Newport Daily Express prides itself as being the only paper that covers local news and sports in the Northeast Kingdom everyday, providing a slice of life in Northern Vermont.
