DERBY – IROC was a busy place this weekend, even as it was winding down and preparing to hand over the keys to Community National Bank in the final act of foreclosure.
Crowds packed into the gym for the annual Spring Home and Car Show and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. In the meantime, area children splashed and splattered in the pool as they dove for Easter eggs, with parents close at hand.
IROC fans and supporters paid the building their final respects while enjoying the facility.
Among those displaying at the home show was the Vermont National Guard, which came with a high climbing wall that looked like it belonged at IROC. Auto dealers, insurance companies, garden centers, home improvement businesses, food and farm operations, and even a display from the Soap Box Derby club filled the gym.
