Albany Firefighter Pleads To Setting Fire To Own Station

NEWPORT CITY - The man who set the Albany Fire Station on fire last summer pled no contest in a plea agreement in Orleans County Superior Court Criminal Division Tuesday to a felony charge of second degree arson and a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment.Elmer Joerg, 46, of Albany will be sentenced for his crime in 30 to 40 days.
