Police: Two people robbed the Subway Restaurant in Orleans Thursday

The Vermont State Police are looking for two people who allegedly robbed the Subway Restaurant Thursday evening.
Detective Trooper Christopher Pilner from the St. Johnsbury Barracks wrote in a press release that at about 7:30 p.m., two people walked into the restaurant at 25 Railroad Avenue and demanded money. State police said that one of the people displayed a knife. The two-people left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The alleged robbers were last seen going east toward the Ethan Allen Manufacturing Plant. Police described them as about six feet with a stocky build.
None of the employees sustained injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 802-748-3111.
