NEWPORT CITY – A 55-year-old Lowell man has been released on conditions after entering innocent pleas in criminal court to felony aggravated domestic with a weapon and misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and domestic assault.

Tod Morin is accused of shifting his vehicle while his wife was driving and causing it to crash.

State Trooper Christopher wrote in court documents that on Aug. 20, dispatch notified him of a crash on Route 100 in Lowell. Court files say that Morin’s wife told police she was arguing with her husband when he reportedly shifted the vehicle and caused her to crash.
